Our Process

Our process begins with sourcing and requirement understanding, and continues through tanning, leather processing, finishing, quality review, and supply coordination.

Sourcing and Selection

The process starts with sourcing suitable cow, goat, and sheep raw material based on the intended article and end application. Selection at this stage is important because leather quality, grain character, and suitability for further processing are influenced by the base raw material itself.

Depending on the product requirement, sourcing may be aligned with factors such as:

  • Leather type
  • Grain characteristics
  • Thickness range
  • End-use suitability
  • Shade and finish expectations

Requirement Understanding

We study the intended application, article type, finish preference, shade requirement, thickness expectation, and general end-use needs. This helps us approach the leather in line with customer requirements.

Based on article and customer requirement, we undertake:

  • Chrome tanning
  • Chrome-free tanning
  • Vegetable tanning

The tanning route is selected according to the desired end use, leather feel, finish requirement, and product expectations.

Leather Processing

After tanning, leather is processed according to the article being developed. During this stage, we take into account practical production factors such as batch repeatability, thickness tolerance, and grain behavior.

Finishing

The finishing stage is handled with attention to appearance, feel, and usability. Depending on the article, this may include consideration of finish stability, shade uniformity, and surface character.

Quality Review

In QC, we review the leather against relevant product requirements. This may include attention to consistency, thickness, grain response, finish behavior, shade, and overall application suitability.

We recognize the importance of responsible chemical handling as part of disciplined leather manufacturing.

Where required, testing and compliance-related evaluation can be supported for parameters such as:

  • REACH requirements
  • Chrome VI limits
  • Restricted Substance List requirements
External laboratory support can be arranged through SASTRA, Intertek, and SGS.

Sampling and Coordination

We also support sample discussions and requirement clarification so that customers can evaluate suitability before order finalization.
